Searched and no answer found on this site. I was going through honda-tech and read about warming up your car in cold weather and it is not necessary and not recommended. This statement was well backed up with trustworthy citations and people also commented that even dealers and manuals pointed out not to warm up the car with extended idling(5~10 minute idles)M3 specific.
So I figure these are for NA cars and we need the oil to thin up for it to circulate into the turbos in our cars.
So question is how long or at what point do you start driving your car. And also is it THAT bad to use 10w-30 in cold NJ winters?
